A large group of supporters left Sydney's Downing Centre Local Court with Janice Meyer, also known as Jan Eastgate.
accused of coaching an 11-year-old girl to lie about sexual abuse
She is accused of coaching an 11-year-old girl to lie about sexual abuse by her step-father.
Meyer is yet to enter a plea to a charge of perverting the course of justice.
The Scientologist's supporters gathered around her, pushing cameramen and reporters.
One held an umbrella to try to stop Meyer being filmed as she got into a waiting car.
The court agreed to change Meyer's bail conditions to allow her to travel between Australia and the United States, where she now lives.
